Basement renovation

Usable space you already own

Finishing your basement is often the most affordable way to add living space to your home. We start with the things you will not see later: moisture checks, insulation, framing and wiring done properly.

Then we finish the space the way you will use it, whether that is a family room, a gym, a guest suite or a combination of all three.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a permit to finish my basement?

Many basement projects need a building permit, especially when adding a washroom, bedrooms or changing plumbing. We tell you what applies and our in-house BCIN designer prepares the drawings.

Can you add a washroom where there is no rough-in?

Often yes. We can add drain lines or a pump system depending on your layout.

Can this become a legal unit later?

If that is your plan, tell us up front. We can build to second-unit standards now so a future conversion is much easier.
